Christmas Tag Swap!

I'm doing so many new things this year and a Christmas tag swap is one of them! The lovely and talented Pat May of Whyte is hosting this particular swap and I was lucky to be a part of it! I created 9 tags and will be receiving 9 various tags from 9 other talented artists! Exciting!! I had so much fun creating these buggers. I used lots of Pearl X powders in the background, white paint, caran d'ache neocolor crayons, pitt pens, stamps, ranger distress ink, gel pens, brads, fiber and some beads!! Each one is unique and all have one word stamped on it. Here are the words: joy, love, peace, santa, rejoice, sweet, give, sing and home. I even made a little tag on the back that says "made with love", etc. I'm glad I was able to participate!! Thank you Pat!! Check out Pat's great shop and blog! Show her some love and tell her Aimée sent you!

  1. Those tags are awesome, Aimee! Something to make the gift that much more special and unique. What a great idea making gift tags! You are simply amazing with your art work!

  2. I've already said it -- these are just lovely -- but I couldn't resist saying it again. Thanks for sharing the details of how you made them! Inspiring!

  3. Thank you ladies!!! :) They were fun!

  4. Hey Aimee, I know you from FB. I just ♥'d your Etsy shop. here's my info if you are interested.

    see ya around FB.

  5. You, Kim and Carol are already done, my idea hasn't even been created yet!! Tomorrow's project. These are so kewl Aimée, I can't wait to get all of them and send back out. I have Pearl X powders and love the effect, but I don't have much luck with anything more than add them to wet ink. I've mixed with acrylics with absolutely no luck. Maybe time for a Aimée tutorial on Pearl X?? :)

Thanks so much for sharing these and giving me some ^5

  6. These are awesome! I love the effect you got with the pearl ex powders.
