The Dresses

Hello Everyone!

Well that missing mojo that has been gone so long has now returned home to me!! I'm thrilled that I'm creating again and it feels soooo good too! Maybe I just needed a break for awhile. I did get that needed push to create too just the other day. I was asked to be the featured artist at The Great Adirondack Soup Co. for the month of July. This is the 2nd time I've displayed there and people can buy the art right off the wall! We'll see how it goes. I also have been asked to sell my art in a new studio that is opening up in the next few weeks so I've been busy getting ready for that too. With all of that happening I will have my art in 3 places locally for the month of July and 2 after that! How cool is that? I'm so excited. When I have more info on the new studio I'll post it here.

On another not if you'd like to receive updates via email just sign up for my enewletter on the right. :)

OK the title of this blog is "The Dresses" so let's get on with it! I am finished my little dress series!! I'm thrilled with how they all turned out! I was given a HUGE bag of scraps from my friend who makes the cutest aliens to adopt named Lindsey. That is what sparked this series to begin with. There are 6 altogether and I may make more. I've done them in 6 different languages based on my love of travel and other cultures. To date I've done French, Spanish, German, Dutch, Italian and English. Here they are! Hope you like them. I intend on selling these at the new studio so I just need to wire the backs and they're all set! Let me know what you think.

La Robe - French

El Traje - Spanish

Das Kleid - German

The Dress

Het Jurkje - Dutch

Il Vestito - Italian

Hope everyone has a FABULOUS 4th of July here in America!!

Later!!
Mazer!

Lots of News!

Hi all,

It's a new year and already it's started out with a bang for me!!! I spent the end of last year frantically trying to diversify where I sell my art and that didn't do a thing. I started a Lollishop which I made new items especially for and have had no sales I am little down about that. I started an ArtFire shop also no sales. The only place I've been selling slowly but consistently has been Etsy. I'm thinking of waiting until my items expire on the first 2 sites then closing those shops. Makes life easier. I do promise I will do some new art this year. I have too!!! I am going to be in an art show in NYC in March and need to create for that!!!! Just have to have dedicated time and creative juices flowing to be able to do that. I currently am in an creative slump! Unfortunately my personal life affects my art and creativity and last year was a rough one for me. I'm praying this year is better and my creativity explodes!!!!! So all my artsy readers hang in there, I haven't neglected my art just need some creative juices to come my way. Does anyone sell Creative Juice???? I could use a case full!!!!

The other thing I started this year was becoming an Independent Silver Consultant for Inspiranza Designs. Let me say this ... I LOVE THIS STUFF!!! Yes I'm yelling!! The jewelry is high quality and affordable sterling and gemstones and some gold as well. I have had 3 parties since I've started and have made $500 for about 6 or 7 hours worth of work!!!!! This is the easiest "job" I've ever had. I wanted to share the join special this month for all of you because I would love to have you on my team (especially if you're creative, maybe that will rub off)!

So this is the deal:

New consultants can join for just $75 and they get a $75 credit to spend on jewelry! (If you're planning on spending $50 for a ring or a piece, why not spend an extra $25 and become a consultant with $75 in free jewelry and 50% off your first order!!!) This is a better deal then when I signed up last month!! Take advantage of getting 50% off jewelry now AND when the new line comes out!Have the opportunity to MAKE money on the side with their new business!
New consultants can build their teams quickly as well by inviting their friends to take advantage of this great offer! This is a great deal!!! If you'd like more info or want to do it you can view it on my site as well as the current catalog.

My brother Nate and his fiancée Petrie in Holland.

On another note, I'm soooo happy I did sign up for Inspiranza Designs, it's allowing me to go to my brothers wedding at the end of this month in Holland!! Yes, Holland in the Netherlands. I have made enough cash from ID and sales on eBay to buy my plane ticket cash! I was worried I wouldn't be able to go. I am one of 3 family members that will be there on my brother's side. I HAVE to go we're the closest in the fam and I wouldn't miss it for the world. He's also my last brother to get married!!!

So that's it for now. Life has been a whirlwind lately. I do miss my creative juices so send some my way artsy people!!! :)

Hope your year is off to a great start!

Hoo Hoo Red and Blue

This is my newest print for sale in my shop. It was originally a custom order for someone but I fell in love with it so much I'd thought I'd share it with everyone else! It is now listed in my shop. If you love owls then you will LOVE this print! If you like this print but would like different colors let me know, I'd be happy to accommodate you.

Latest news from me:

I'm happy to say the very wonderful artist Claudine Hellmuth is willing to meet with me when we go down to Orlando these next 2 weeks. I'm proud to say I own an original Poppet Sketch made by Claudine herself. I am going to be talking to her about my Swirlyville series and how to go about marketing it. How nice is that of her to meet a complete stranger and help out? She's AWESOME! Can't wait to meet you Claudine! Check out her website here.

Also I am honored to say that the Jackson Symphony has contacted me to use one of my logos for an upcoming concert in the Fall. They found me on Cafepress and want to use my BeGreen logo. The logo will be used as the centerpiece for all publicity on the concert. The concert will be called "Be Green featuring the Photochoreography of James Westwater." Westwater is photographer who will sync his photos to the orchestra playing music. The concert will raise awareness by environmental topics such as energy conservation, recycling, and overall green living. The logo will appear on all publicity materials (posters, flyers, season brochure, etc). Check them out here. Very cool and honored to be a part of this.

Well as I stated before we are going to Orlando on Monday. I will be gone until the 21st, any orders from Etsy I won't be able to ship until I get back. We're very excited because we will be meeting our new nephew Caleb who was born on 2/18. We'll be taking Lorelei to SeaWorld too, she loves sea animals so that should be a big adventure for her. I'm so ready for some warm weather and sun that warms the soul! It will be great seeing all of our old friends and family too, hopefully it will be a wonderful trip! Wish us luck flying with our 13 1/2 month old!!!

Til next time!
