Organica - LOOKING FOR A NEW HOME!

Hi all,

Just wanted to blog a little about my latest piece called "Organica". I am biased but I just love this piece. It took on a life of it's own as I was creating it. It's a large piece at 24" x 36" with the thick gallery wrapped sides so it's ready to hang. I have many more photos in my flickr photostream to see details better. It has green little micro beads, archival paper, rhinestones, gold leaf flakes, molding paste and more. It's coated in some great smelling beeswax to finish it off. This piece has a lot of depth and would be a great focal piece for a room. It has a soft earthy feel to it with all the greens and browns. YAY I'm done!!! I've only been working on this for months and needed motivation! Well I got the motivation I was looking for 2 days ago when a friend asked me to display my art in his restaurant. I didn't have a whole lot since I haven't been painting daily so I needed to finish this and I did!! I really like how it turned out. I would love any feedback you may have. It's a large gallery wrapped canvas and the sides are painted black so you just have to hang it up! If it doesn't sell in the restaurant in the next month it will be going on my Etsy shop, unfortunately I do not have the room for it at home. Thanks for looking!
