Freedom!

Created this for my niece Corlin's room.

I am enjoying my new found freedom with my creations lately. Now that I'm not stressed to keep up a shop it seems to have unleashed some more passion for creating! I've cleaned up the inventory in my shops, marked some things down, added back some items and have decided to have a BIG sale! Back from Florida

Hi all,

It's been awhile. I was hoping to blog while on vacation in FL but that just didn't happen. Our schedule was nutso!! Visiting family and friends and of course a random theme park or 2 or 3. We had a wonderful Christmas hope you all had a wonderful holiday season as well. We arrived back home last night, now to pick up where we left off. I've missed all my blogging buddies and readers. I'm missing the warm days and visits to parks and the almost daily walk my toddler wanted to go on outside. The sun is out here today but it's super windy and cold so no walks for us. :(

OK so I'll share with you my story. I think the best gift I ever received was when I found out my boyfriend (now husband of almost 10 yrs) Jason was going to follow me to NY. He went away to school when we were both living in FL, during this time I couldn't find work and my family had just moved back North to NY and I was starting to live on credit. It was getting bad!! I made the gut wrenching decision to move back to NY and I really didn't want to because all of my friends were in FL and I knew Jason would be coming back to FL after school was done. I didn't know if we could survive the distance since we had only been dating 4 months when he left. I was worried sick that it would be over and I knew by that time I had wanted to marry him. I got the phone call from him that he was going to move to NY so we could be together again and I was the happiest I had ever been. He came a few days just before Christmas and we've been together ever since!!! That was the best gift ever!!!!

I'm sooooooo very sorry to have neglected my blog in the last few weeks. Things have been nuts with the holidays especially with it being my baby girl Lorelei's first Christmas!! Many firsts have occurred just in the last week. She's started to walk on Christmas eve and say Hi! It seems like everything happens at once! I have had no time to create anything lately, I have missed the last 3 IF topics :( I'm hoping to get back on track in the next few weeks but I'm also gearing up for her first birthday in 2 weeks as well! UGH! Like I said lots going on!

On a cool note my newest store on Etsy: Something Random is doing well, we've had 7 sales and 2 were biggies so it's great!!! Thank you all!
